Surface Preparation
All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and free of dirt, dust, grease, loose or flaking paint, and loose surface plaster.
Efflorescence or mould on masonry or concrete surfaces must be treated. Flatten gloss surfaces by thoroughly sanding
and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Apply FX Lemon Tree Creek® Sealer Undercoat as required. Then apply one coat of
FX Lemon Tree Creek® Semi-Gloss, tinted to a colour that is as close as possible to the selected FX Liquid Metal™ colour.
For best results surfaces should be well prepared and smooth.
Stir contents thoroughly before and during use with a broad, flat stirrer, using an upward action.
Brush/Roller: Apply the first coat with a roller. Ensure the roller is very soft with nap between 12 mm–18 mm. The second
coat may be applied with a roller or a 100 mm brush, using a criss-cross action.
It is important to keep a wet edge at all times. To slow down the drying time, add approximately 10% of FX Scumble.
