FX Lemon Tree Creek® Water-Based Enamel (Gloss & Semi-Gloss) is a high-performance, hard-wearing interior and
exterior acrylic coating specifically formulated for use in all domestic and commercial situations where environmental
safety and peace of mind are paramount. It incorporates advanced molecular sieve technology to absorb odours and
toxins, is APEO-free* and Low-VOC**, and is developed for ease of application and superior durability wherever a hard
finish is required. This product is part of the FX Lemon Tree Creek® integrated system of ultra-safe paints and used with FX
Lemon Tree Creek® Pre-Coat, gives a perfect finish on doors and trims.

FX Lemon Tree Creek® Water-Based Enamel is ideal for interior and exterior trims, such as skirting boards, architraves,
doors and window sills.
Surface Preparation
All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and free of dirt, dust, and grease, loose or flaking paint, and loose surface
plaster. Flatten gloss surfaces by thoroughly sanding and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Then apply FX Lemon Tree
Creek® Pre-Coat as required on unsealed and pre-painted trims and doors.
Important Note: Thorough preparation and the use of Lemon Tree Creek® Pre-Coat is the key to a perfect finish.
Stir contents thoroughly before and during use with a broad, flat stirrer, using an upward action.
Brush/Roller: Apply product using a 75 mm–100 mm brush, or medium or long nap roller.
Airless/Conventional Spray: Suitable for application using all standard spray equipment. Up to 10% of water per litre may
be added to aid atomisation.
Approximate Spreading Rate: 6–10 square metres per litre, depending on application technique and surface roughness.
Approximate Film thickness per coat: Wet: 150 Microns; Dry: 25 Microns.
Thinner: Not required.
Tinting: Refer to colour chart for tinting specifications.
Method: Brush, roller or airless/conventional spray equipment.
Drying Times (at 25 °C): Touch: 6–8 Hours; Recoat: 16 Hours.
Note: Do not apply paint if the air temperature or substrate temperature is below 10 °C or above 35 °C.
The temperature should not fall below 10 °C during the drying process.
Clean-up: Water. Safety: Dust Mask. Gloss Level: 20%–30% (semi-gloss) & 60%–80% (gloss) at a 60° viewing angle.
*APEO-free: APEOs (Alkylphenol ethoxylates) are non-ionic surfactants with an emulsifying and dispersing action, known
for their poor biodegradability and toxicity, especially to marine life.
**VOC-free / ***low-VOC: VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) are chemical compounds that vaporise and enter the
air, contributing to inside and outside air pollution.
Safety and Environmental Care
Personal Protection: Wear eye protection and dust mask when spraying, as splashes may cause eye irritation and inhalation of spray
mist may cause respiratory irritation.
Asbestos cement sheeting: Do not disturb, sand or scrub, and avoid any peripheral dust. If you do not have professional expertise in
handling/removal of asbestos sheeting, use a licensed asbestos removalist.

Slippery when spilled· Restrict access to area until clean-up is completed · When cleaning up spills, use personal protection
equipment · Stop leak if safe to do so and contain spill with absorbent material such as sand, vermiculite or other inert material ·
Prevent spill from entering waterways · Collect and dispose of spilled material according to local regulations · Wash away remnants
with liberal amounts of cold water.

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place out of direct sunlight · Store away from strong acids and moisture · Keep containers closed
at all times and check regularly for spills.
Refer to State/Territory Land Waste Management Authority: most authorities permit disposal at approved land waste sites.
