FX Lemon Tree Creek® Low Sheen(Interior & Exterior)
FX Lemon Tree Creek® Low Sheen is a high-performance, hard-wearing interior and exterior acrylic coating specifically
formulated for use in all domestic and commercial situations where environmental safety and peace of mind are
paramount. It uses cutting-edge resins and pigments, and is APEO-free* and VOC-free**. FX Lemon Tree Creek® Low
Sheen offers excellent opacity, and because it is breathable, it absorbs atmospheric toxins that then remain inert in the
Lemon Tree Creek® Sealer Undercoat. This product is part of the FX Lemon Tree Creek® integrated system of ultra-safe
paints and used with FX Lemon Tree Creek® Sealer Undercoat, gives a perfect finish on walls.

FX Lemon Tree Creek® Low Sheen is ideal for pre-painted or unpainted surfaces, such as plaster, plasterboard, cement
and timber. One coat of Lemon Tree Creek® Sealer Undercoat is required before applying FX Lemon Tree Creek® Low
Surface Preparation
All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and free of dirt, dust, grease, loose or flaking paint, and loose surface plaster.
Efflorescence or mould on masonry or concrete surfaces must be treated. Flatten gloss surfaces by thoroughly sanding
and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Then apply FX Lemon Tree Creek® Sealer Undercoat as required.
Stir contents thoroughly before and during use with a broad, flat stirrer, using an upward action.
Brush/Roller: Apply with a 75 mm–100 mm brush or medium or long nap roller.
Airless/conventional spray: Suitable for application using all standard spray equipment. Up to 10% of water per litre may
be added to aid atomisation.
Approximate Spreading Rate: 14–16 square metres per litre, depending on application technique and surface
Approximate Film thickness per coat: Wet: 90 Microns; Dry: 25 Microns.
Requires: 2 coats.
Thinner: Water, 10% if required.
Tinting: Refer to colour chart for tinting specifications.
Method: Brush, roller or airless/conventional spray equipment.
Drying Times (at 25 °C): Touch: 40 Minutes; Recoat: 4 Hours.
Note: Do not apply paint if the air temperature or substrate temperature is below 10 °C or above 35 °C.
The temperature should not fall below 10 °C during the drying process.
Clean up: Water. Safety: Dust Mask. Gloss Level: 5%–10% at a 60° viewing angle.
*APEO-free: APEOs (Alkylphenol ethoxylates) are non-ionic surfactants with an emulsifying and dispersing action, known
for their poor biodegradability and toxicity, especially to marine life.
**VOC-free: VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) are chemical compounds that vaporise and enter the air,
contributing to inside and outside air pollution.
Safety and Environmental Care
Personal Protection: Wear eye protection and dust mask when spraying, as splashes may cause eye irritation and inhalation of spray
mist may cause respiratory irritation.
Asbestos cement sheeting: Do not disturb, sand or scrub, and avoid any peripheral dust. If you do not have professional expertise in
handling/removal of asbestos sheeting, use a licensed asbestos removalist.

Slippery when spilled· Restrict access to area until clean-up is completed · When cleaning up spills, use personal protection
equipment · Stop leak if safe to do so and contain spill with absorbent material such as sand, vermiculite or other inert material ·
Prevent spill from entering waterways · Collect and dispose of spilled material according to local regulations · Wash away remnants
with liberal amounts of cold water.

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place out of direct sunlight · Store away from strong acids and moisture · Keep containers closed
at all times and check regularly for spills.
Refer to State/Territory Land Waste Management Authority: most authorities permit disposal at approved land waste sites.
